Treatment and Prevention

A strict, gluten-free diet is necessary for those diagnosed with Celiac Disease. This diet lacks the following grains:

  • Rye

  • Barley

  • Durum

  • Farina

  • Graham flour

  • Malt

  • Semolina

As the digestive tract is too hypersensitive for gluten, the most simple way to treat and prevent the symptoms is to maintain a gluten-free diet, which prevents the inflammation from occurring.
